CANADA'S BOOMING SERVICE SECTOR

UNLAWFUL COMMUNITY JAILS

January 27, 2026

In Canada, although the law has not been amended to give police the powers to jail impoverished people who are suffering from mental illnesses, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, unemployability, and criminal history, Canadian communities are routinely incarcerating these people as paying inmates.

At 3675 4th Avenue in Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada, up to 30 of these people are paying to be incarcerated in tool sheds that don’t have within them: toilets, shower stalls, running water, and sinks.

Because these tool sheds are not up to the residential building code, and because these tool sheds are used unlawfully to house inmates, according to law, the operator(s) of these tool sheds must pay daily penalties for their ceaseless violations of the building code.

It must be noted that the approximately 30 inmates who are jailed at 3675 4th Avenue in Port Alberni, British Columbia Canada, are not charged with any criminal offences; they are not convicted for committing any crimes.

Without a Warden’s Court, these inmates are subjected to strict jail rules.

Because there’s no Warden’s Court, when the jail staff accused these inmates of violating the jail’s rules, police officers escort the inmates out of the jailer’s compound without ensuring that the inmates unused rent monies are refunded to the inmates.

Yes, the inmates are paying rent to be incarcerated.

This is the product of Port Alberni’s share of the $82.5 billion that Justin Trudeau gave the premiers to eliminate homelessness in Canada.

On January 12, 2026 the City of Port Alberni approved the proposal for more formal, but still an illegal jail for incarcerating Port Alberni’s impoverished people who are suffering from mental illnesses, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, unemployability, and criminal history.

This proposed 55 cells unlawful community jail is supposed to be built at 5170 Argyle Street in Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada.

Because the general rules of these community jails do not allow their paying inmates to be incarcerated as couples and or families, it is expected that this unlawful community jail will incarcerate up to 55 impoverished Canadians.

Although the City Council and the residents of Port Alberni wholehearted accept Port Aberni’s 4th Avenue tool sheds community jail, at least 2 City of Port Alberni City Councilors, and the community’s fascist people opposed the proposed Argyle Street 55 cells community jail.

Their opposition to this proposed Argyle Street community jail is not because it will constitute violations of the charter and legal rights of the prospective inmates.

Their opposition is because this proposed community jail is going to be a step up from tool sheds.

Please note that each of the proposed 55 cells will have proper: toilets, shower stalls, running water, and sinks.

If one thing in Canada is broken, it’s the minds the oppressors who are subjecting their impoverished relatives to such severe ill-treatments.

Mark Carney has budgeted $100 billion for housing, nevertheless, the oppressors continue to unlawfully incarcerate their own impoverished relatives in community jails, and compel them to pay rent.
