IN BRITISH COLUMBIA TENT CITIES ARE LEGALIZED
The City of Prince George has apologized for removing shelter structures from the Lower Patricia homeless encampment and it has withdrawn of its appeal of Supreme Court ruling against it in the matter.
In a separate judgment in Prince George v. Johnny, Justice Coval of the British Columbia Supreme Court found that the City of Prince George “inflicted serious harm on vulnerable people,” when it removed shelter structures from the Lower Patricia encampment.
